Tasks calendarYour Notion dates in your iPhone calendar, as real events.
A webcal feed is read-only, stays silent and refreshes when it feels like it. Calnio's events are ordinary iCloud events: they alert on every device, and you can edit them from either side.
Each database gets its own calendar. A date without a time becomes an all-day event, a date with a time becomes an event at that time, and Calnio checks for changes every 15 minutes. How it works on an iPhone.
What Calnio keeps, and how to take it back.
Calnio is run by one indie developer, me, on a server I host myself. This is everything it holds. More answers are in the FAQ.
What I store
Your name, email and avatar from Google sign-in, but no Google tokens. A Notion access token, limited to the pages you share. Your iCloud email and an app-specific password.
For each synced item, its title, its date and the ids that link the page to the event. Never the page content.
How it is protected
The Notion token and the iCloud password are encrypted before they reach the database. Your session lives in an httpOnly cookie the page cannot read.
Calnio asks for an app-specific password, never your Apple Account password, and you can cancel it on its own at any time.
Revoking access
Disconnecting Notion in Calnio revokes the grant on Notion's side. You can also remove Calnio in Notion under Settings, Connections.
For iCloud, revoke the password at appleid.apple.com, under Sign-In and Security, App-Specific Passwords.
Deleting your account
Settings, Delete account. It removes your account and everything Calnio stores about it, and revokes its Notion access. Events already in your Apple Calendar stay. They are yours.
Edit in Apple Calendar, and Notion follows.
Create an event, and a new page appears in Notion.
Drag it to another day, and the due date moves.
Rename it, and the page is renamed.
Delete it, and the page goes to the trash.
Two-way is a switch on each sync, off until you turn it on. Notion edits reach the calendar either way. When both sides changed at once, Notion wins. Repeating events and invites are never imported.
To sync Notion with iCloud Calendar, tick a database.
Sign in with Google, connect Notion, add an iCloud app-specific password, and tick the databases you want. Calnio finds the date column and creates the calendar for you. Two-way is one switch on the same card. The step-by-step guide walks through each screen.
I built Calnio for my own tasks, and I use it every day.

Your dates, where you already look.
Sign in, tick a database, and it shows up in Apple Calendar. Turn two-way on and your calendar edits go back to Notion.
